I offer psychotherapy to individuals and couples that is uniquely tailored to my clients’ needs in ways that feel tolerable, controlled, and empowering. Many of my clients come with long lasting symptoms of depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship problems, and unexplained physiological symptoms that are often masking deeper injuries. I specialize in working with individuals who, despite having been in therapy for some time, have not achieved their goals.
I will accompany you in your journey of self-discovery and healing to put you on a path towards a thriving life. My approach to therapy is gentle, compassionate, and client centered. I understand that certain barriers and fears may accompany the healing process as my clients and I jointly work to explore their painful experiences. I take pride in my ability to optimize my clients’ therapeutic goals by integrating a variety of treatment models with creative and non-traditional methods. As a clinician and a lifelong scholar, I am committed to continuously advance my knowledge in the field of mental health and trauma as I strive to offer the highest quality of care.
Sessions can be provided in English or Hebrew. I am also fluent in Arabic and its various dialects. I am culturally sensitive and understand the experiences of individuals from more traditional and collectivistic cultural backgrounds.
Areas of Focus and Expertise
EMDR is a well-researched and very effective form of therapy that helps individuals reprocess traumatic information until it is no longer psychologically disruptive. My advanced EMDR training allows me to apply this method in a more specialized way to meet the specific, complicated, and non-verbal needs of my clients.
EFT is an attachment-based psychotherapy model that works with both individual and couples. This treatment is very effective in helping clients deepen the understanding of the negative patterns in their relationships while strengthening their personal connections in meaningful ways.
SE is a body-informed therapy that aims to work through the release of traumatic shock as manifested in bodily sensations. This model of therapy offers subtle and lasting relief to clients who present with unexplained physiological and somatic symptoms such as migraines, chronic pains, and even psychogenic nonepileptic seizures, in addition to the more common mental health afflictions.
